The Grand Hotel - Wyong
This heritage pub, originally constructed in 1912, has had a complete refurbishment of The Hotel accommodation to bring it up to modern standards whilst retaining, and reflecting on, it's heritage.
All rooms were upgraded to include ensuite bathrooms, with the original communal bathrooms converted into additional accommodation. Walls, floors & ceilings were upgraded to meet current standards for fire & acoustic ratings.
A new entry to the accommodation suites, via a light filled atrium, was constructed to replace the original external steel fire stair. An accessible room was created on the ground floor, making use of what was originally the laundry room.
