The Grand Motel - Wyong

Designed by Jason Klumpp for Tyrrells Architects, a disused ex-bottle shop building at the rear of an existing Hotel was transformed into a modern Motel complex.

Careful planning created 17 rooms from the existing 280m2 floor area, with loft rooms created by utilising the sloping site to access the high roof space.

On the 26th July 2016 the project was awarded the winner in the Commercial Design category of the BDA (Building Designers Association of Australia) chapter design awards.
